Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts

Located on Vineyard Sound with spectacular views from almost every room, this 5,102 square foot house maintained the island’s charming aesthetic with the quintessential exterior grey Cedar single style.  The renovation was accomplished with great organization on all specifications and sound relationship management with the various sub contractors that worked on the island along with our general contractor’s and client’s time schedules.

Beautiful white oak hardwood floors throughout the house, a kitchen worthy of a top chef, easy care fabrics that you could come off the beach and flop onto any chair or sofa in any room made this house into a home.  Organic and textured materials were selected for this home along with Jerusalem gold for the outdoor screed porch, Vermont slate for one of the guest bathrooms and Crema Luna limestone.  The sunroom quickly became the family favorite with its game table to congregate around at the end of the day to look the water throughout the day.

Saltwater and full sun exposure were two things with a unique set of challenges to work in consideration with when building out this comfortable and sustainable space for the family to live in for years to come.
